Message from the Office Manager
by Hannah Trimble
As we wrap up another event-filled year at MUFON HQ, we wanted to open the door to our office and give you a peek into what has been happening.
We started the year strong as we looked forward to the growth of Project Aquarius, our newest edition to MUFON. As the office manager, I engage with our members and the public directly every day and something evident is their desire to research the phenomena for themselves. You asked and we answered. Our research library is one of the most exciting developments in our mission. True understanding doesn’t come from being told something, it’s through discovery and this allows everyone to discover for themselves.
As the winter was coming to a close, we had some hiccups as our database was held up in limbo for several months. This was trying for us, that being said our members remained strong and saw us through this trial. This is where we can take a moment to reflect and realize that we have an incredible community that stood by and helped us to come through the desert almost unscathed. Thank you.
As Summer came swooping through with its promised heat and beautiful sunshine, we flew to Texas to enjoy another successful Symposium! Not only did we get to see some cattle drives and cowboy hats, but we were also able to convene with our incredible network of members and enthusiasts. We all gathered to talk about the Battle for UFO Transparency and walked away much wiser for it. We are grateful for the volunteers, members, and speakers who helped facilitate this. It was and is always the talk of the town as we gather to wrestle out our ideas and present our research to one another.
Throughout the year many State Chapters host meetings so they can bring the community of state members together. This continued effort of the State Directors and their FIs to foster connection and communication within their state has brought continued membership and support. For that, we are always grateful.
As autumn showed its lovely face, we welcomed another highly successful Field Investigator Boot Camp hosted by our State Director, Stacey Wright. I receive emails every single year from the attendees celebrating the professionalism and joy brought together for this event.
As we close out this year I want to mention our appreciation to every one of our State Directors, FI’s ERT members, and volunteers have devoted countless hours of sweat and tears to our mutual desire for disclosure and understanding. It is with humility that we honor and express our gratitude for them and their work. We want to wish every one of our supporters and members a wonderful Holiday Season and thank you for standing with us through thick and thin as we continue to march forward in our search for answers.
Sincerely,
MUFON HQ
